Wireless Links

There are multiple methods to access and control a remote surveillance unit. Using a wireless link is a quick and inexpensive way to set up a monitoring post. Users can install wireless links in a number of ways. Contact our sales department for further information.

Air-to-Ground Links

NSMS has a long history in developing air to ground links for its surveillance systems. We can design your system to suite your aerial surveillance needs by integrated various linking technologies. Links include an airborne transmitter, antenna, possibly a relay link and a receiver. Our COFDM units make excellent aerial transmitters. The CASA tracking antenna, or our Patch antennas make great transmitting or receiving links. Customers can select from a number of /nsmweb/products-solutions/covert-surveillance-equipment/covert-wireless-ip-concealments/Relay or Receiving units to round out a system.

Ground-to-Ground Links

Like air‐to‐ground links, ground‐to‐ground links involve a transmitter, antennas, a receiver – with possible a relay unit in between if direct line‐of‐sight communications is not possible, like in a dense urban environment. Our solutions cover analog or digital transmitters – usually placed in the surveillance unit; your choice of antennas and/or relays, and a receiving unit. New digital communications links allow users to command a surveillance unit using only a web browser and a laptop computer from almost anywhere in the world.
